Sausage Gravy, Large Family Style

2 lbs. ground sausage
1 cup flour
9 cups milk
1 tea. salt
1-2 tea. pepper

Brown sausage in pan on stove-top.
Drain any excess grease, leaving a small amount of grease in they pan for flavor.
Begin by adding 1/4 flour, and stir until the sausage is coated.
Add 4 cups of milk, and stir.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Continue adding flour, 1/4 cup at a time, until you have added approximately a total of 1 cup of flour and milk in 1 cup increments untill you reach approximately 9 cups of milk.
Continue stirring until gravy or the gravy is as thick as you like and the amount you want.

Serve over biscuits.
